Alumni enjoy Homecoming activities and NC State’s win over Southern Mississippi.

On Saturday, Oct. 29, the Park Alumni Society held its third annual pre-game tailgate during NC State’s Homecoming weekend. More than 30 Park alumni and their friends came out for a BBQ tailgate co-sponsored by the NC State Alumni Association.

Though the Pack got off to a slow start, the afternoon was capped off with a Wolfpack win, as the Pack beat Southern Miss, 21 to 17.

During half-time, three Park Scholars were recognized as part of the Leader of the Pack competition. Sarah Kim (2008), Kasey Phillips (2008) and Will Quick (2007) were all named finalists in the competition. The $1000 scholarship honors one female and male each year on the basis of scholarship and their leadership and service in the campus community.
